Mathias is Parisian, he lives in our neighborhood and regularly comes to look at the jewelry in the boutique. We have valuable discussions about our jobs, life, creation... and one day, we offered to become the godfather of one of our rings.

His ring comes in the form of a bracelet and a necklace , so he is even the godfather of a whole range!

In a few words, how did your story with Ombre Claire begin?

It's a jewelry designer friend who had the first Ombre Claire collections in his store. I saw the rings and bracelets. He told me the history of the brand and its manufacturing, it resonated with me. 

Who are you?

I am a creative person, I look for ideas, stories and when I find them, I write them, draw them, realize them and produce them. I also like doing installations.

What was your first Ombre Claire piece of jewelry?

A very fine ring, simply engraved but it gives an effect of shine like diamonds, I find it simple and at the same time powerful to make a raw material shine just by transforming the way in which the light falls on it. 

What is your fondest travel memory?

…mmmm… I have a lot. Waking up above the canopy in the jungle of Laos? 

Where do you dream of taking your new Ombre Claire jewelry?

To Niger! to meet the artisans who made it and show them how proud I am to wear their work. 

What Ombre Claire jewelry would you like to give to someone important in your life?

I believe that the important people in my life have already received tons of Ombre Claire jewelry from me. I need to take a closer look at the new collection, but I think the “Mathias” bracelet would be fun to give to my father (who never wears jewelry)
