The story of the little silver Creoles:

Among nomads, women wear large hoop earrings like this one but are so large and heavy that they distort the earlobe which sometimes falls very low!

They carry a very important symbol among nomads, the mother pearl at the start represents the starting point of the nomad, the circle represents the time of the very important journey, and the space between the circle and the pearl, the void, represents time sedentary before leaving. I like the idea that sedentary time is hollow among nomads.

I designed these hoop earrings very small so that I could wear them all the time without having to take them off. I decorate them with little colorful touches by adding a cotton tie. 

The small silver hoop earrings are delivered in a pretty natural kraft box.
