The Basile Ombre Claire necklace is a men's necklace made up of a 999 silver pendant on a 50 cm 925 silver chain. It is shaped by hand.

The story of the Basile silver necklace: 

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by Inuit culture. My favorite showcase at the Musée de l'Homme was the one dedicated to the North Pole and I read "Apoustiak, the little snowflake" by Paul Emile Victor over and over before going to bed. Even today I read and reread this book to my son who likes "as if by chance" all white snow animals...

The Inuit were probably the first to invent sunglasses to withstand the reflection of the sun on the ice floe. Carved from seal bones, two slits let light through.

I designed the Basile necklace thinking of his sunglasses, snow owl patterns and embroidered hands on Inuit clothing.

Basile directs documentaries for which he goes to the four corners of the planet to discover multiple and varied cultures. We imagined his encounter with the Inuit.
