Little Tamtout necklace
Long necklace engraved in solid silver with a plunged lambskin pompom.
His history :
Tamtout is the woman in Tamashek, the language of the Tuaregs.
In India, women wear bolas during pregnancy, bell necklaces that emit a ringing that the child will recognize when it is born and that will reassure and soothe it, helping it to fall asleep afterwards.
I was inspired by this Indian tradition and I designed this sphere engraved with Tuareg motifs. Inside there is no bell but a small seed. It therefore only makes a very light, soft and discreet sound, but full of symbols!
