Heavy ring engraved in recycled solid 999 silver.
Designed in France and handcrafted in Niger by Tuareg artisans
Women in apricot, green dresses walk towards a hammam that can be seen on the dark stage, water falls from the sky, foam flies from expert hands, it is the deluge on the planks. We imagine a rain on the Bosphorus.
I designed this collection after seeing a show by Pina Bausch "Nefès" who visits Istanbul, passing through Rome. We cross the waters. She explores the female bodies, their fragile balance between their image of statue and their condition, and then the souk, the veils, the oriental festival, the community, the links between the dancers, the inhabitants of the city.
Nefes, "breath" in Turkish, is originally a spiritual hymn sung with or without accompaniment. He inspired me with this collection made of human chains,
of drops of water, of moss, of puddles, of showers, of waterfalls.
