In front of the house, on the edge of the pond, there were two large willows, our fishing rods were getting so tangled up in them that they had quickly invaded the sky. I loved to watch their little silvery leaves quivering, but what I liked most was the sound of the wind in those willows.
I designed silver and bronze earrings for my ears hoping to hear the leaves of the willows rustling in the wind.
These earrings were made by a Tuareg craftsman. They were entirely handmade.
This earrings weigh 12 grams in recycled solid silver and bronze. They measure 5.5 cm in length.
